Ceramic name plates

6th grade students had fun with textures and letters to create these awesome name plates! First, students rolled out a slab of clay and designed the piece using several textured plates. Some students even created their own unique background. Next, our 6th grade artists rolled out another slab to create letters for their names. Some students created their own, some used cookie cutters and tracers. These are some pieces at the beginning stages of glaze! Stay tuned to see the final product!
