Grid Drawing

8th grade artists used their math skills to create these beautiful drawings. They used the grinding technique to enlarge a smaller photo of a dessert. They used contrasting colors to add interet using pastels. These artists used layers of color to create the illusion of 3 dimensions on a flat 2 dimensional surface! So proud of these students...I think they truly surprised themselves!
